Checking myself twice and then some!
In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson. – Tom Bodett
Today is Friday, I have ended another week as a college Student. This week was a little better on the stress of my mind, I felt better organized for this week.
I had applied for my internship for Social Work, 4 months ago with the Yurok Tribe, as the time drew near the start date, I was frightened that I would not start on time, you see you must get 120 hours to pass the class, as of Monday still no return call or email from Human resources, Tuesday came and went, I felt as though I wasn't good enough to work at the Tribe, "FOR FREE" well I email my teacher she called me and said that I was a great candidate for another internship at Humbolt State for the housing program.
I did get the Job yesterday for Humbolt housing, no more stress, "I am good enough."
I am now ready to start a new chapter in my life!
Today I finished up my English assignment of outside/ inside I felt good about what I turned in today we will see how I did soon.
Today I have been watching videos on Latin root words, you know that saying you learn something every day? well I hit the jack pot today, spelling is very hard for me, using tricks to learn easier is a plus for me.
Here are my words today using a root word Ambi: Means both
Ambidextrous, means both hands as told by our brain.
Ambiguous meaning it could go either way.
Root word Aqua, means water like aquarium, or my favorite Aqua man.
