Malcolm X reading was titillating.

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. Malcolm X

We need more light about each other. Light creates understanding, understanding creates love, love creates patience, and patience creates unity.   Malcolm X

I have not seen you for a while, Blogg!

So much has gone on since last week. My classes are fantastic. I believe every day I learn something exciting. The courses I am enrolled in this term are challenging but very satisfying. Social work field classes, along with my Internship, are going better than I had ever imagined they could be. Today was an absolute breakthrough. I have always wanted to help the homeless this is one of the reasons I decided to go to school. Astronomy keeps me wanting more every day. Today I found out that this week's summary was so fascinating I received a 101 instead of a 100 %. How exciting. Native American studies have always been one of my favorite classes; learning can be such a fantastic thing. Now we get to English, one of my famous people is Malcolm X, he was an American Icon, he spent years in prison, Malcolm X did not waste much of his time sitting and watching time go by. Malcolm spent his time learning to read. Malcolm wrote, "I do not want to write like I speak, so I changed it. In the movie, Denzel Washington plays Malcolm X, and it was amazing to watch Denzel been walked like Malcolm. The activist became famous for his speeches telling the world "all are created equal," no color or race was any different, we all bleed red. English class reading about Malcolm X was genuinely inspirational.

Fantastic week, after I started feeling better from Covid!

Vocabulary word this week sticking with Malcolm X, one of his words was

Threadbare

Definition: thin and tattered with age
Definition: Threadbare means thin from overuse.

Those jeans you wear every day with holes in the knees and thin patches in the rear? They're threadbare

Rhonda is threadbare from too much school this week.
