Learning a life's lesson can be hard!

This week I learned rough drafts and how they are important do you write a proper paper I think rough drafts are important because you get an idea of what you truly want to write you're not worrying about punctuation or proper spelling you're just getting ideas down on paper. I had a hard time writing a rough draft this week just because I am a perfectionist, or I try to be, but I learned a valuable lesson that not everything has to be perfected the first time, writing the perfect paper means not using your brain to delete and write and delete and write, writing a perfect paper is really for yourself and no one else. 

This week I learned how important feedback is to writing essays you get perspective from other people not just your own, feedback is not meant to be a criticism it is just another idea of a peers Perspective, I think it will help me become a stronger writer. I am thoroughly enjoying this class and what I have been learning in the last 3 1/2 weeks I think what I've learned so far will stay with me my lifetime. 


About my week, this week I started my internship, I was quite nervous but after training I become very excited, I think the job I am doing will not be my calling but will give me some outlook on where I want to be after graduation, I still would like to become a social worker but to do a wide range of different jobs, I and a family dilemma dealing with addiction this week, in the past I would have been the first one to help, my training taught me that people need lessons in life to make them stronger, I was confused about this until I had to deal with it in my own family, now that my niece has to fix her own choices she is getting the help she needs, if I would have helped she might have not choose this.
